I’m a Senior Editor at Politico Magazine, based in Washington, D.C. I edit features on all things related to politics.

Before that, I was Deputy Editor of The New Republic’s print edition, overseeing the magazine’s front of the book section and editing the inequality vertical of the website. I also spent eight years working at Mother Jones, starting off as an investigative reporter and eventually moving up to News Editor, and once was a Writing Fellow at The American Prospect. My work has also appeared in print at The Nation and National Journal Magazine, and online at The Washington Independent.
